New pictures

We got to see Elliott for about an hour this morning, so we got some pretty good pictures of him. He even gave us a few smiles. We met one of his doctors while we were there. He said that Elliott is a good baby and "isn't a trouble maker and minds his own business." I thought that was pretty funny. The doctor said they are going to give him another round of the medicine to close the blood vessel in his heart. He also mentioned that sometimes babies have to have a procedure done to close the vessel if the medication doesn't work, but he's not saying yet that Elliott will need that, but he wanted us to be aware of it. Of course we already know all about this stuff because my friend Becky is keeping us informed on all the preemie stuff...........thanks Beck! Elliott still weighs 4 lb. 2oz. so he's doing fine there. He is on 30% oxygen because he is still dropping his level periodically.

As you can tell in the pictures, he is pretty darn cute even with all the tubes and stuff on his little face. His hat is a little big still, but it looks so cute with his name on it we couldn't resist taking pictures with it on.

We will be leaving in the morning, so we only have two more sets of visiting hours that we can spend with him. Pray that those times are rich and that Elliott feels our love for him already and continues to grow and thrive as we wait for him to be ready to come home.
