Yay, we got to see Elliott tonight and we got to be there the full two hours. One of the nurses took a picture of all three of us. This is our first "family picture".
Elliott was a sleepy little guy this evening but we got to snuggle a lot with him and he gave us a few grins. We talked to him a lot, sang to him and prayed over him. It was a sweet and blessed time for us.
He has begun to gain again and his weight is now 4 lb. 4.8 oz. I can't believe he has already grown so much. He is still on about 25% oxygen, but they have started him on the medicine again for closing the blood vessel in his heart so we are hoping the heart rate and oxygen issues will begin to fade.
We will go see him in the morning after breakfast and then we will head back to Texas. As much as we don't want to leave him, we know Elliott still needs to be right where he is.

So glad you got some quality time with him and that you are being able to hold him and not just put your hands on him. Can't wait til he comes HOME!
