How can it be?

Who's who? Brett? E? Hmmm!

Look how strong he is getting! What a cute profile! :o)

Such a big boy!

And always grinning! How 'bout that hairdo?

Snicker decided to just enjoy the new baby things instead of tear them up!

People have been saying how much E looks like Brett. While we know that is an impossibility, look at these two pictures and explain to me how these two babies could resemble each other so much and have no blood relation at all? Is it just me, or do they really look alike? How can it be?
Our days are filled with lots of fun. We have taken E out a few times recently, but with much care and MUCH sanitizer! We went out for lunch the other day with him, but of course we timed it where there would be minimal numbers of people. We also took him for a walk in his stroller, and Snicker was happy that she got to go! As you will see in a photo posted, she is making the best of having the baby around. :o)

E is stretching out his night time sleeping now and he is doing wonderful with it. He can go almost five hours at a time between feedings, so it looks like he will be moving to his room in the near future. We got a baby monitor and we put him in his room during the day naps over the weekend. The monitor works great and is very clear, so now it will just be up to us to feel comfortable enough to have him on the other side of the house. I know Snicker was very happy to find him missing from our room over the weekend. I guess she thought we sent him back to where we got him, but she learned very quickly that he is still here.

Things have settled down a lot and the doctor visits are over for a while until our follow up with the urologist and the eye doctor, so we are just enjoying our time together each day. I am having fun taking pictures and helping E do new things. He is starting to have a little bit of tummy time on his new Boppy pillow I got him with a gift card from my cousin. The pictures I am posting today are of him having his first tummy time. He is getting so strong and can hold his head up well! What a big boy! Each milestone is cause for celebration! God has blessed us so much in the way E is progressing. It's hard to believe he was so little and frail and now he is so healthy and strong! Praise be to God!

  1. Allison, those pictures are amazing! Enjoy every minute with him. He is a "doll baby".
