This is definitely the life! E loves his new floaty seat. If I wasn't afraid he'd get sunburned he could stay out there in the water for hours! However, overprotective mommy slathered him up with sunscreen three times in the 30 minutes we were at the pool. :o)
Lots has been going on lately. My dad and my brother came down for a quick visit last weekend. We had a good time, but of course it was over so fast. My brother had to deliver an engine down here near us, so my dad came with him and after they delivered it they just came to our house for the rest of the weekend.
This weekend Brett's cousin and uncle are coming to visit. We are so excited for them to see E. We have not seen Brett's uncle in years and Brett's cousin has always been very dear to us, so it should be a great time! I will be sure to post pictures of our visit. I am planning to cook some bbq ribs, pasta salad, beans and a yummy cake for dessert.
Our friends from Virginia are working frantically to find a place to live here in the area. Sherry is actually here right now staying with another friend hunting down apartments. They leave from Virginia to make the trek here on June 3rd, so it's kinda like crunch time! We are so excited that they will be living near us after all these years. Now we just need to get all the yucky stressful move stuff out of the way so we can enjoy them!
Had a great, but short, visit recently with my friend who lives in Italy. She was here and then gone in a blink, but we had a good time while she was here.
So, it's been a little busy around here. But that's good. Who knows who will show up next? :o)
